MASKS FOR BOULDER VALLEY WOMEN’S HEALTH CENTER Calling all sewers and crafters! With BVWHC patients and staff now required to wear masks, we are in short supply. If you can help create masks, either with or without filter pockets, please see instructions below. Our main concern is that our masks are functional and will protect the safety of our staff and patients. It is completely fine to have non-matching fabrics, thread, and binding strips, but a well-sewn mask with no frayed edges, missed seams or holes is important. INSTRUCTIONS In order to make sure the masks are as safe and effective as possible, please follow these instructions closely: Sewing Pattern: We are in need of both standard masks for patients and masks that have a filter pocket for staff. Please use the tutorials below when making your masks, as it is most helpful to use a standard pattern to ensure proper fit and function.
